The Danish Djurs Sommerland is expanding its offerings with accommodation options and plans the Djurs Sommerland Holiday Resort, which is set to welcome its first guests in 2028. Following continuous additions to the attractions area, including Mexicoland with the adventure path Camino del Sol and the drop tower El Grito, the park is now focusing on tourist accommodations. Søren Sandberg takes over as project leader for the development.

Strategic Expansion of the Park

The Danish Djurs Sommerland, after continuous expansions in the park's attraction offerings, is now pursuing the strategy to expand its offerings with accommodation options. With the planned Djurs Sommerland Holiday Resort, the park is now pursuing the expansion with accommodation options. The resort is set to receive guests from 2028 and create a complementary tourist offering. For the implementation, Søren Sandberg has been hired as project leader, who brings over 15 years of experience in the tourism industry and most recently worked as managing director of Landal GreenParks Danmark.

The latest additions include Mexicoland, which has been enriched with the adventure path Camino del Sol and the drop tower El Grito. These expansions underscore the park's strategy to attract visitors through diverse experiences.
