Anna Hullner, a 24-year-old painter from Europa-Park, delivered an impressive performance at EuroSkills 2025 in Herning, Denmark. From September 9 to 13, she showcased her skills in the painting discipline and secured second place, earning the silver medal. In various modules, including door lacquering and a speed competition, she demonstrated precision and speed.
Anna Hullner's Success in the Competition
Anna Hullner mastered challenging tasks over three competition days. These included millimeter-precise design transfer as well as a free technique in which she designed a globe that fit the EuroSkills motto. The speed competition demanded particular quickness, while the door lacquering required craftsmanship. She proved her artisanal abilities on a European stage.
EuroSkills as the European Championship
EuroSkills is considered the European Championship of Professions. Over 600 young professionals in 38 disciplines competed against each other. Anna Hullner qualified at the end of January 2025 by winning the selection competition in Hamburg to participate in Denmark.
Preparation and Professional Background
In the months before the event, Anna Hullner underwent an intensive preparation phase. This included targeted training and workshops to sharpen her abilities. She completed her apprenticeship in 2023 at Europa-Park and has since been a permanent part of the team at Germany's largest theme park.

A highlight of EuroSkills 2025 was the visit by King Frederik X of Denmark on Thursday. This impressively underscored the great importance of the competition for promoting young talent in Europe. The motto “Skilled for a greener future” emphasized sustainability, innovation, and professional excellence.
