Europa-Park in Rust will become the venue for the premiere of the “PUMA Run Your City” event on November 3, 2025. After the park closes, around 600 runners will start an exclusive run through the autumn-winter illuminated themed areas. The German top athlete Konstanze Klosterhalfen, a two-time Olympic participant and 2022 European champion over 5000 meters, will take part and first answer participants' questions in a Q&A.
Involvement of Athlete Konstanze Klosterhalfen
A highlight for fans of running sports is the participation of Konstanze Klosterhalfen. As a PUMA brand ambassador, she will answer participants' questions in a joint Q&A and then join the running round. Running is not just a sport for her, but pure joy of life, explains Klosterhalfen. An event in such an extraordinary setting is a great opportunity to combine her passion with a special experience, and she is very much looking forward to it.
Kickoff to the HALLOWinter Season with New Event Format
To kick off the HALLOWinter season, Germany's largest amusement park will transform into a spectacular running track for one evening. The “PUMA Run Your City” event format, which has previously taken place in metropolises like Berlin, Vienna, and Amsterdam, will make its first stop in Rust. When the gates close for day guests, the park will open for the runners, who will experience a unique backdrop.
Expansion of the PUMA Tour to the Amusement Park
With the stop at Europa-Park, PUMA is expanding its tour to include a new, unique experience. Where roller coasters usually provide adrenaline rushes, the focus that evening will be on the athletic challenge, embedded in the park's incomparable atmosphere. Sport and emotion are inextricably linked for us, emphasizes Nicolas Mack, deputy director of marketing, sales, and digital at Europa-Park. The connection of movement, community, and experience fits perfectly with the park's philosophy.
The Running Route Through the HALLOWinter Backdrop
The approximately six-kilometer route starts at the Ballsaal Berlin and leads through the dreamy HALLOWinter scenery of Europa-Park. Amid fog banks, pumpkins, fir trees, and twinkling lights, participants will discover an entirely new, previously unknown side of the park. The run will take place at a relaxed pace where everyone can keep up, and pace groups will be formed so that each person can get the most out of it.
The “PUMA Run Your City” Format at a Glance
The “Run Your City” format, launched by PUMA in 2024, is aimed at sports enthusiasts who enjoy running together. Whether beginner or experienced athlete, everyone is warmly invited. The mission is to support every runner in developing further, regardless of their level. An event consists of a workshop and a test run. The tour covers 11 cities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, starting in March, with the PUMA Test & Try Van equipped with the latest NITRO running shoes and surprises.
Benefits and Extras for Participants
Participants can look forward to an exclusive goodie bag and have the opportunity to test the latest shoe models from the PUMA NITRO series during the run to experience state-of-the-art technology and maximum comfort. After the run, there will be small snacks and drinks. Exclusive lectures by experts, athletes, and influencers provide valuable tips for training, and during the run, runners can exchange ideas and motivate each other.
Participation and Registration
Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration is required for the Q&A and the run, as spots are limited. Registration opens about two weeks before the event on the website, on a first-come, first-served basis. For the run itself in the general tour, no registration is needed, but it is for workshops and lectures. If someone is unable to attend, they should unregister so others can take the opportunity. Someone will remain on site at the location during the run, so items can be left there, although no liability is assumed for deposited items. Depending on the location and event, the length ranges between 5 km and 10 km.
