Last week, over 200 dance enthusiasts from 10 different countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Lithuania, gathered at the World of Dance Camp Europe in Rust. The US-based brand World of Dance organized the camp in cooperation with Germany's largest theme park, Europa-Park, and on the initiative of Talent Academy founder and director Katja Mack from August 13 to 17. Participants expanded their skills in workshops and explored the park.
Successful Launch and Continuation
The World of Dance Camp Europe took place again after its successful debut last year, as the globally oriented US organization granted the license for a camp in Europe. Renowned dancers and choreographers from around the world joined children, teenagers, and adults to develop energetic and expressive choreographies. The event offered inspiring workshops where everyone built on their talents together and gained new impulses.
Tailored Programs and Workshops
The 2025 camp provided two customized programs, with the Beginner Camp aimed at newcomers and the Master Camp targeting advanced dancers. Both programs allowed access to a variety of workshops in different styles, including Contemporary Dance, Commercial Choreo, Heels Dance, and Hip-Hop Commercial. These offerings were tailored to the participants' levels and encouraged learning amid resonant beats.
Exploring Europa-Park
As part of the World of Dance Camp, participants had the chance to explore Germany's largest theme park, Europa-Park, with its 17 European-themed areas. This element seamlessly linked the dance event with the park's appeal and provided a varied complement to the workshops.
Closing Showcase
The Talent Academy organized a World of Dance Showcase in “Das Studio” at Europa-Park on Sunday to conclude the camp. Numerous dance enthusiasts took part and presented their acquired skills. The event highlighted the camp's successful execution and sparked anticipation for the next edition.
Outlook for 2026
The World of Dance Camp will return to the Talent Academy Europa-Park in 2026. The organization's mission to promote dance culture and inspire participants to learn new things aligns perfectly with the Talent Academy's focus.
