Traumzeit e.V. Hosts 12th Magical Stay at Europa-Park Rust

For the twelfth time, the non-profit organization Traumzeit e.V. – Heart's Wish Actions for Children with Cancer invited children with cancer and their families to a multi-day stay at Europa-Park in Rust. Over 40 participants spent four unforgettable days filled with joy, lightness, and magical moments. The initiative, funded entirely through donations, operated under the motto “Gifting Moments of Happiness – Giving Strength for Life” and allowed those affected to temporarily forget their daily routines.

A Ray of Hope for Families in Difficult Times

In Germany's largest theme park, the children and families experienced bright spots that pushed illness and worries into the background. The participants laughed, marveled, and enjoyed the freedom to simply be kids, regardless of age. Founder and chairwoman Nadine Guggenberger describes the beaming faces of the children, for instance when they ride a roller coaster for the first time, take a photo with Ed Euromaus, or let their eyes sparkle during the parade.

Individual Moments of Happiness for Children and Parents

The moments of happiness were individual and varied. Fourteen-year-old Alessia rode her favorite attraction “Arthur – Im Königreich der Minimoys” twice in a row. Seven-year-old Pepe, who wanted to recharge after a long therapy, visited Europa-Park for the first time and explored the numerous themed areas, tried one attraction after another, and savored every moment. Parents also benefited from moments of relaxation, such as sleeping in, being pampered with a delicious breakfast at the hotel resort, or looking forward to enjoying the shows and trying the new ride “GRAND PRIX EDventure.”

Europa-Park as a Source of Hope

Patron Alexandra Polzin, who supports the work of Traumzeit e.V. as its patron and was present during the stay at Europa-Park in Rust, emphasizes that Europa-Park is more than a place of entertainment and that such moments provide nourishment for the soul. Many families report that these shared experiences linger in memory for a long time and provide fresh strength for challenging times. The organization accompanies its protégés on such trips to offer lightness and hope.

Anniversary Year with Special Highlights

This year's visit coincided with a special year, as Europa-Park celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025. Since its opening in 1975, the park has delighted generations with innovative attractions, elaborately designed themed areas, and a magical atmosphere. For the 50th birthday, visitors can expect a year full of highlights featuring new shows, an exciting parade, and special themed events. Over the years, the park has established itself as a place of togetherness and hope, making it ideal for the families of Traumzeit e.V.

Thanks and Congratulations on the Anniversary

Traumzeit e.V. congratulates Europa-Park on its anniversary and thanks the entire team for the warm support that makes every stay so special.
