Parc Astérix, an emblematic leisure destination of the Compagnie des Alpes group, crossed a new threshold in 2025 by welcoming 2.9 million visitors. This confirms the park's position as France's second-most-visited theme park. Buoyed by this positive momentum, Parc Astérix has unveiled an ambitious development plan supported by a €250 million investment through 2030, aiming to strengthen its position in France and enter Europe's top five parks.

Parc Astérix Continues Its Transformation with an Ambitious Development Plan Through 2030
In 2026, the Egypt zone will be transformed, with the "L’Oxygénarium" attraction being rethemed to "La Descente du Nil." "Les Chaises Volantes" will become "L’Envol d’Ibis," and "Le Cirque" restaurant will become "Le Comptoir d’Epidemaïs." In 2027, a new area in the Greek zone will be created with two new family attractions, a play area, and "La Table de Dionysos" restaurant, which has a capacity of 450 seats. Also in 2027, the four-star "Hôtel L’Odyssée" will open with 300 rooms featuring high environmental quality. The hotel expands the accommodation area and is inspired by Astérix and Obélix's journeys to the Orient, with four zones: Persia, Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Phoenicia. In 2028, the Londinium zone will be built, a new indoor area inspired by the album "Asterix in Britain." It will house an immersive major roller coaster, an interactive family dark ride, a vertical play area, a pub, and boutiques. The overall plan creates 20 percent additional capacity in the park, with two-thirds of these capacities being indoor to reduce weather dependency. The hotel area will total 750 rooms with the opening of "Hôtel L’Odyssée." This comprehensive plan aims to achieve record-high satisfaction levels, ranking among Europe's best parks.
