Toverland Unveils Unmasked: New Halloween Attractions

Preparations are underway at Toverland amusement park for the Halloween season, which starts on October 4, 2025. Visitors can look forward to 13 Halloween Nights with intense scare elements and 21 family-friendly Halloween Days. New this year are the Haunted Experience and Scare Zone, both named Unmasked, which blend seamlessly in theme and feature a vampire masquerade ball.

New Attractions: Unmasked Haunted Experience and Scare Zone

The new Haunted Experience Unmasked: Waltzthrough takes visitors to the ruins of an old mansion, where they come face to face with the mysterious countess. As soon as she removes her mask, guests move on to the freely accessible Scare Zone Unmasked: Wunderball Masque. There, they dance to the rhythm of a centuries-old waltz from which no one has ever escaped. These elements offer daring visitors an immersive experience centered on vampires in baroque splendor, sparking curiosity but also suspicion. The doors of the vampire ball open only once every hundred years to welcome new blood, and the ruin threatens to suffocate the visitors. In the Scare Zone, a smile greets the uninvited, but the laughter fades quickly with the first dance step. Do you dare extend your hand for a suffocating dance? You can experience this unique attraction as a free Scare Zone and as a paid Haunted Experience.

Halloween Nights: Spooky Evenings for Ages 12 and Up

During the Halloween Nights, recommended for ages 12 and up, a vault opens containing dark magic, and 160 scare actors take over the park. After a breathtaking parade, they spread out across six free-access Scare Zones and six paid Haunted Experiences with themes like crazy clowns, cunning witches, and zombie warriors from antiquity. Besides the vampires in Unmasked, visitors encounter mutated Trojan soldiers in DesTroy, who guard the ruins of Troy's walls and drive away intruders. In Morgana's Frozen Knights, Morgana has expanded her army with ice warriors and seized power in Avalon, which might freeze visitors' hearts and turn them to the dark side. The Scare Zone Cirque features a large circus area with gruesome entertainment, exciting scare moments, and fairground attractions where nowhere is safe; it opens at 2:00 p.m., daytime without scares. Fiesta de los Muertos celebrates the colorful festival of the dead with undead beings, but the mood shifts abruptly, and visitors might become the next sacrifice. Shadows of the Sea depicts the sunken Gouden Galjoen with its crew, whose souls wander the seabed in search of new members - and guess who that could be: the visitors themselves. All Scare Zones open from 7:00 p.m. and are included in the park ticket; scariness is indicated by the number of spiders, and those easily startled can use the Halloween magic wand to keep actors at a distance.

The Haunted Experiences require separate reservations via the ticket shop and provide intense, fully themed thrills that make the Halloween Night truly complete; the wand does not work here. The nights end at 10:45 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks display that banishes the monsters back to their dungeon. For those who do not want to miss anything, the all-in Fear Pass is available again for 62.50 euros, a wearable ticket that grants one-time access to all six experiences via a faster queue and entry to a special Fear Pass terrace for the parade's opening show. It also includes a physical Fear Pass with a lanyard and an exclusive Fear Pass pin, and true scaredevils love all the fright moments with it. Alternatively, tickets for the Experiences are available per time slot at prices between 6.00 and 12.50 euros. The Halloween Nights take place on October 4, from October 11 to 13, from October 15 to 19, on October 25 and 26, on October 31, and on November 1, 2025, with opening hours until 11:00 p.m. and all attractions available. Once the sun sets, the scariest ghosts take over Toverland, and visitors dare to face the hair-raising nights, while dark magic grips every corner and safety is almost nowhere to be found. Are you up to the new Haunted Experience and Scare Zone? Discover your own fear and put your greatest fears to the test.
