The themed area of the magical city Raveleijn in Efteling is being completely renewed and expanded with a new, exciting attraction featuring a thrill experience. The well-known park show is undergoing a complete metamorphosis with a new storyline and impressive show effects, while the current main characters will continue to be seen. The renewed themed area is expected to open at the end of 2026.

From now on, cyclists can explore a new thematic bike route around the Efteling that tells the story of the Danse Macabre attraction. The 18-kilometer route “The Cursed Letter” from Brabant Partners leads through Kaatsheuvel and the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park, connecting Brabant legends with the landscape. It follows the trail of a post coachman carrying a cursed letter.

The Efteling Grand Hotel will open on August 1, 2025, as the latest overnight accommodation in the heart of the Efteling theme park. To celebrate this event, a huge bow made from decorative gift ribbon will be attached to the 106-meter-wide facade of the building. The park is undertaking an official world record attempt for the largest bow in the world, registered with GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™. Guests can book now to experience this moment.

Since June 25, 2025, the first of the new Gondoletta boats has been gliding through the scenic waterways of Efteling theme park. By the end of the year, all forty boats will be replaced, offering increased capacity and a fresh design. This upgrade elevates the beloved attraction while preserving its serene journey through the park’s natural beauty.
