Colossal: Via Verso Venezia – Venice nights at Europa-Park

Canals, masks, bridges in the evening light – and all of it at Europa-Park? That’s the pitch behind the new multimedia show “Colossal: Via Verso Venezia.” Guests at the Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort and walk-up visitors from the region don’t just get a postcard Venice. They get a night show: romantic, visual, and tied to a story that runs all the way along the Silk Road.

From August 1 through September 13, the show starts every evening at 9:45 p.m. Explorer Marco Polo leads the journey from Asia along the legendary Silk Road to his hometown of Venice. Canals and bridges, mysterious masks, that lagoon-city atmosphere people have loved for centuries – all of it lands on stage. The façade of the 4-star superior experience hotel Colosseo, built in the style of historic Rome, becomes the screen. Visual effects, Europa-Park artists, and surprise special effects turn the projection into a trip you can almost feel.

The best seats are on the grandstand at the Colosseo arch. Admission is free for overnight guests, day visitors, and last-minute arrivals.
