Disneyland Paris Brings Mickey and Minnie to Toulouse Hospital

On July 16, Mickey and Minnie Mouse walked through the doors of the Children's Hospital and the pediatric department at Toulouse University Hospital — to the delight of young patients, their families and hospital staff. Joined by the Disney VoluntEARS from Disneyland Paris, the iconic characters filled the day with real joy.

After greeting Mickey and Minnie, the children took part in creative workshops: they decorated water bottles, painted, made personalized bracelets and created badges. Each piece gave them a little of that Disney magic to keep. Positive experiences like these matter on a child's treatment journey. They give hope, joy and the strength to cope better with the challenges of illness.

Disneyland Paris works with hundreds of hospitals across France and offers thousands of young patients moments of distraction and magic. Since 1991, the company, with support from the Disney VoluntEARS, has organized more than 40,000 visits for hospitalized children in nearly 500 health care facilities in France and Europe. The Toulouse visit continues that long tradition, bringing Disney magic beyond the park.
