Efteling Reveals Ravenring: New Interactive Flying Attraction Opening This Winter in Raveleijn

Efteling has laid its cards on the table and finally revealed the name and design of the highly anticipated new attraction in the legendary Raveleijn themed area. With Ravenring, a unique flying adventure is coming this winter to the popular Dutch theme park – an experience that will thrill fans of action, interaction and magical immersion alike.

Ravenring is being built right outside the imposing city walls of the magical city of Raveleijn. Visitors board one of 18 winged vehicles inspired by the legendary ravens – those mysterious black birds that have long been inextricably linked to the fascinating world of Raveleijn. Using a simple lever, everyone decides for themselves how boldly and steeply they want to fly through the air. This puts not only their flying skills but also their personal endurance to an exciting test. Who has enough heroism to protect the magical city?

The attraction accommodates 36 brave guests at the same time and is accessible from a height of just one meter – perfect for families and young adventurers. At the center of the ring-shaped structure towers the striking Raven Medallion. All around are banners and the five iconic magical elements that define the Raveleijn experience. After the thrilling ride, a special surprise awaits: Visitors learn which element – Water (blue), Fire (red), Wood (green), Earth (brown) or Metal (purple) – best matches their personality. A fantastic personal souvenir of the experience!

As early as August 2025, Efteling announced a comprehensive redesign of the entire Raveleijn area. In addition to Ravenring, the well-known park show will be completely revamped with a brand-new storyline and breathtaking effects. The production is being carried out in close collaboration with Puy de Fou, the internationally renowned specialist for immersive shows. This new show will also be accessible to all visitors starting this winter.

Further details on the exact opening date of the renovated area as well as Ravenring are to be announced later this year. One thing is already clear: With this project, Efteling once again underscores its reputation as a pioneer for innovative and thematically profound attractions that not only entertain but also immerse visitors in the rich lore of the park.
