Europa-Park Hosts 'Signs of Hope' Service with Missio Aachen

Europa-Park in Rust is preparing for a special event. On Sunday, October 26, an ecumenical service under the motto "Signs of Hope" will take place in the "Church in Europa-Park." Together with the Catholic aid organization Missio Aachen, chaplains Andrea Ziegler and Thomas Schneeberger invite guests of all ages. The service begins at 2:30 p.m. in the "Convento" room of the Hotel "Santa Isabel."

Angel Wings Installation on Saturday

On Saturday, visitors to Europa-Park can expect a large, golden angel-wings installation from Missio Aachen at the Norwegian Stave Church in the Scandinavian-themed area. It serves as a popular photo spot that invites discovery and wonder. Staff from the organization are available for conversations and to provide information about current aid projects.

Continuation of the Installation on Sunday

The angel-wings installation will remain set up on Sunday as well, offering visitors to Europa-Park the opportunity throughout the weekend to set a sign of hope while learning more about the work of Missio Aachen.

Reports from Myanmar in the Service

At the center of the service are reports from Myanmar. Pastor Dirk Bingener, president of Missio Aachen, and Sister Felix from Myanmar will share insights into the organization's work in this country affected by crises and poverty. They will explain how Christian charity can create hope and provide concrete support.

Musical Arrangement and Mascot

The musical accompaniment is provided by KISI—God's singing kids. This cheerful children's choir from Austria ensures a lively atmosphere during the service. Additionally, the popular mascot "Joy" of the "Church in Europa-Park" is present, which will particularly delight young visitors.
