Europa-Park September Events: Shows, Oktoberfest & More

What awaits Europa-Park fans in September? Between a multimedia show, country brunch, Oktoberfest and the start of the horror season, the month is packed — and anyone who plans ahead will get the most out of the experience resort in Rust. From cozy brunch mornings to late-night party specials and spine-tingling festival premieres, almost every weekend brings a fan-worthy highlight.

Around Germany's largest theme park, September once again has plenty to discover. Guests looking for a relaxed start to the day get a double treat on Sundays: The Silver Lake Saloon invites visitors to Country Brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., while Restaurant Bubba Svens at Hotel "Krønasår" serves a relaxed Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those who prefer something more historic can step back into the 15th century on selected dates between March 2026 and January 2027. Schloss Balthasar, built in 1442, hosts the Alemannic Knights' Banquet — a period-authentic feast with four courses, presented by the lord of the castle, served in medieval costume and framed by minstrels and jesters.

Running through Sept. 13 is the multimedia show "Colossal: Via Verso Venezia." Explorer Marco Polo takes visitors on his journey along the legendary Silk Road from Asia to his hometown of Venice. The facade of the 4-star superior experience hotel "Colosseo," built in the style of historic Rome, serves as a canvas for visual effects; Europa-Park artists and surprising special effects accompany the show. Guests enjoy the best view from the stands of the Colosseo arch — and admission is free.

On Sept. 5 and 6, the "Dallmayr Family Days" hit the calendar: A fantastic coffee and tea rally guides young and old through Europa-Park with fun and plenty to savor. Also on Sept. 5 and again on Sept. 12, Silver Lake City becomes the stage for the Sundowner with live entertainment — from country and folk to pop classics and modern hits, performed by regional artists and acts from Europa-Park.

Things get creative on Sept. 10 at the TALENT ACADEMY Creative Night: In a relaxed atmosphere with good music, individual works of art take shape on canvas — inspired by the sample motif, but with plenty of room for personal creativity. Sept. 13 brings Elsaß Day, when everything in the French themed area is dedicated to Alsatian tradition and Europa-Park's close ties to the neighboring region. On Sept. 14, 21 and 22, Nadine Beil leads the TALENT ACADEMY hydrangea wreath workshop: In a cozy circle and with a glass of sparkling wine, a wreath full of natural beauty takes shape — ideal for late summer and a creative break from everyday life.

From Sept. 18 to 27, everything in Rulantica's Hyggedal revolves around Scandinavian Sauna Week: themed infusions, soothing peels and face masks promise intense enjoyment. New this year, a DJ spins every evening from 5 to 10 p.m. on the outdoor terrace and turns the sundowner into an experience with chill beats.

In parallel, Oktoberfest starts on Sept. 18 and runs through Oct. 11. In the Europa-Park Arena, the celebration unfolds with Hofbräu Oktoberfest beer and hearty fare. New this year is the Oktoberfest special every Friday: With well-known schlager artists — Schürzenjäger, Ikke Hüftgold, Julian Sommer and Marc Eggers — plus a DJ, guests party, dance and sing along until 1 a.m. Dirndls, lederhosen, cool steins and the best party hits make for unforgettable evenings. Also on Sept. 18, the Silver Lake Saloon hosts a Western Evening: Between card games, the sheriff, cowboys and charming ladies, guests enjoy a four-course menu and experience country music, Wild West dances, stunts, lasso artistry and aerial acrobatics.

On Sept. 19 and 20, the Fairy Tale Festival in Grimms Märchenwald awaits with interactive offerings and popular fairy-tale characters — especially for children ages 4 to 12. The "Kirche im Europa-Park" is also part of the lineup with a story right on the Danube steamer. On Sept. 20, the Rheinauen Nature Center of the municipality of Rust and "einfach helfen e.V." invite guests to an autumn festival for a good cause: A varied family program promises entertainment, enjoyment and unforgettable experiences.

From Sept. 23 through Nov. 7, the award-winning horror festival TRAUMATICA celebrates its anniversary under the motto "20 Years of HORROR, 10 Years of TRAUMATICA!" — with elaborately staged horror worlds and shows. The Halloween season follows from Sept. 26 through Nov. 1: Rattling skeletons, eerie figures and demonic night spirits turn Germany's largest theme park into a mysterious autumn landscape. Attractions, the parade, the show program and dining all lean into the spookily beautiful season.

Whether brunch, show, sauna, Oktoberfest or horror — September at the Europa-Park experience resort offers the right highlight for every mood. Anyone who keeps an eye on the dates will experience the month in Rust at its most varied.
