First Construction Update for Monaco 2026 at Europa-Park

Europa-Park fans are getting their first real look at the construction of the new Monaco themed area thanks to a fresh Instagram Reel. Who else is counting down the days until March 28, 2026, when the Principality becomes the park’s 18th themed land?

The dynamic 59-second video from the official @europapark account features impressive drone and close-up shots of the ongoing work in the former Silver Star area. “Here the new Monaco themed area is being created at Europa-Park. In 2026, Monaco will move into Europa-Park as the 18th European country,” the voiceover explains.

The new area will be divided into eight different zones that will showcase all the facets of Monaco – from the imposing casino in Monte Carlo and a new café with fresh offerings to legendary festival elements and the unmistakable Formula 1 race track atmosphere.

A highlight: Many of the high-quality sets were built in Munich a few weeks ago and then delivered to the park. The Silver Star roller coaster will, of course, remain, but it will receive a full Monaco makeover. Right next to it, a new representative entrance gate is being built that will welcome visitors into the charm and exotic flair of the new themed land.
