In July and August 2025, Efteling theme park will welcome visitors with new summer specialties at Zomerstrand and other locations. From Mexican loaded nachos to Italian desserts and vibrant confetti ice creams, the park offers a diverse range of culinary experiences to make the summer unforgettable.
Culinary Variety at Zomerstrand
Zomerstrand’s colorful chalets invite guests to explore a range of gastronomic delights. The green chalet serves Mexican loaded nachos, topped with tomatoes, corn, red onions, spring onions, and cheese for €5.50. At the yellow chalet, guests can enjoy red bao buns filled with marinated chicken breast, wakame salad, and chili mayonnaise, priced at €7.00 for two.
Italian Desserts at the Blue Chalet
The blue chalet at Zomerstrand captivates with Italian sweets. The affogato, an espresso paired with two scoops of vanilla, chocolate, or pistachio ice cream, costs €4.50, blending warm coffee with cool ice cream. Cannoli come in four flavors - chocolate, salted caramel, limoncello, or pistachio - for €2.75 each. Both desserts can be savored together for €7.00.
Vibrant Confetti Ice Cream for All
At the pink chalet on Zomerstrand, confetti ice cream is available in ten flavors, including lemon & lime, banana split, rainbow, chocolate, sweet melon, strawberry, cotton candy, bubblegum, chocolate & waffle, and cookies & cream. Priced at €3.75, each scoop comes in an edible waffle, radiating summer cheer.
Refreshing Mocktails for Hot Days
The Lipton Mocktail Bar at Zomerstrand offers mocktails for €6.00, inspired by ice cream flavors like Raket, Festini Pear, Solero, and X-Pop. For an extra fee, a real ice cream can be added, perfect for warm summer days. At Ton van de Ven-Plein, the Zomergaarde serves floral ice mocktails in lavender-blueberry, rose-strawberry, and elderflower-pear varieties, also €6.00. These creations enchant with delicate aromas and soft hues, evoking fragrant flowers and butterflies.
Creamy Cornetto Soft at Ruigrijk-Plein
Ruigrijk-Plein introduces Cornetto Soft, a smoother, creamier version of the classic Cornetto, served in a Cornetto waffle and resembling soft-serve ice cream. It comes in five flavors: strawberry, unicorn bubblegum/raspberry, stracciatella, and the Python-inspired Cornetto Sssizzle.
Extended Summer Opening Hours
From July 4 through August 31, 2025, Efteling will be open daily from 10:00 AM to mostly 10:00 PM. Guests can immerse themselves in the Märchenwald, thrilling roller coasters, family-friendly attractions, and spectacular shows.
