Mauritia Mack, patron of the Ortenau Children's Clinic and wife of Europa-Park owner Jürgen Mack, visited the clinic in Offenburg with mascot Ed Euromaus. The purpose of this Advent initiative was to present gifts to children and adolescents during the pre-Christmas season and to share some of Europa-Park's magic with them.
Mauritia Mack has been patron of the Ortenau Children's Clinic since the summer of 2017 and supports patients and staff through various initiatives. During the visit, she and Ed Euromaus distributed gifts, spoke with the nursing staff and medical team, discussed the current situation, and personally thanked them for their tireless commitment.
“I have the greatest respect for the valuable and indispensable work that Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Patrick Gerner and his team do every day for the children in our region. The establishment of the new Social Pediatrics Center in March represents another important step by the children's clinic in providing the best possible medical care for children. It fills me with great joy and gratitude that, as patron and representing our family business, I can support this essential institution. With this visit to Offenburg, I hope to bring some of Europa-Park's magical charm to the young patients,” Mauritia Mack said.
The Mack family, owners of Europa-Park, prioritizes social responsibility in the region. They are committed to supporting children, people in need and the disadvantaged.
