Europa-Park Roller Coasters Glow Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

In October, the globally recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as Pink October, Europa-Park is spotlighting breast cancer prevention. Germany's largest theme park is illuminating numerous roller coasters in vibrant pink to draw attention to early detection and prevention. This initiative sends a clear signal of solidarity with those affected and their families.

Pink Illumination of the Roller Coasters

After nightfall, attractions such as the multi-launch coaster "Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac," the 73-meter-high "Silver Star," and the iconic sphere of the "Eurosat – CanCan Coaster" shine in rosy tones. This special illumination emphasizes the importance of early prevention and raises awareness among all visitors.

Significance of Pink October

Pink October offers an important platform to discuss breast cancer prevention. With the pink lighting of the roller coasters, the Europa-Park Resort is sending a deliberate message that reaches beyond the park's boundaries. Every eighth woman receives a breast cancer diagnosis in her lifetime, and men can also be affected. The park aims to create awareness, encourage prevention, and instill courage and hope for guests, employees, and the public alike, explains Miriam Mack, head of corporate health at the Mack Group and founder of the FeelGood health center.

Health as Corporate Culture

Health means far more to Europa-Park than fitness and prevention; it is part of the corporate culture. The FeelGood health center, founded by Miriam Mack, focuses on occupational medicine, prevention, exercise, and mental strength.

Past Initiatives for Prevention

In the past, the park has implemented initiatives for breast cancer prevention, including a breast palpation program with blind experts in cooperation with Discovering Hands.

Planned Little Heroes Children's House

Additionally, Europa-Park is planning the Little Heroes Children's House, which, from 2026, will give families with children suffering from cancer new hope and a sense of lightness. This underscores how health and joy of life are inseparably connected in the park.
