Events at Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort in May 2026

May 2026 is shaping up to be a true highlight month at the Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort. Around Germany's largest theme park, there's a packed schedule of events, culinary treats and special activities that will make this spring one to remember.

The Alemannic Knight's Banquet has been running since March 2026 and continues until January 2027 on selected dates. In the historic Schloss Balthasar, built in 1442, guests are invited on a journey back to the 15th century with an authentic four-course medieval feast. The lord of the castle presents the original knight's meal in period attire, accompanied by minstrels and jesters.

From April 26 to May 10, the 4-star Superior Erlebnishotel “Colosseo” celebrates asparagus season in style with “Spargel satt”. Guests enjoy a served appetizer followed by main courses and desserts at the buffet – as much as they like. Asparagus is served both in refined and classic preparations.

One of the undoubted highlights is the Balloon Festival from April 30 to May 2. More than 20 hot air balloons will fill the sky above Europa-Park, offering breathtaking views from the Black Forest across the Rhine Valley to the Vosges mountains.

On May 1, the traditional Maihock takes place in the Bavarian-Baden Biergarten. Bavarian specialties and lively entertainment with Europa-Park artists create a great atmosphere.

On May 5, Olaf Schubert brings his show “Jetzt oder now” to the Europa-Park Arena. With his signature quirky humor and surprising twists, he and his friends tackle the big and small questions of our time.

May 9 is dedicated to Europe Day. The Europa-Park celebrates the founding of the European Union with special activities and fitting decorations.

On Mother's Day, May 10, the Europa-Park has special surprises and program highlights in store. The Europa-Park Hotels and Silver Lake City invite guests to an exclusive Mother's Day brunch with delicious treats – the perfect chance to say “Thank you, Mom”.

For talented youngsters aged 14 and over, the TALENT ACADEMY is running the three-day intensive workshop “Musical Theatre Unplugged” from May 15 to 17. Voice, body and expression take center stage in intensive sessions with individual feedback from coaches who have real stage experience.

On May 21, the “Miss WM” election will be held at Europa-Park. Women from various nations will compete in different categories.

On May 23 and 24, the Croatian themed area celebrates the diversity of Croatia with traditional dances, regional customs and authentic dishes.

From May 23 to 25, the JUNIOR CLUB is hosting its first-ever children's festival in the Rulantica water world. Interactive activities and surprises promise plenty of fun for the younger visitors.

From May 31 to August 30, the popular ARD live show “Immer wieder sonntags” with Stefan Mross will be broadcast for the final time on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from the Open Air Arena next to Rulantica. Twelve episodes full of Schlager music, folk tunes and comedy are planned.
