Peter Gaymann’s Easter Event at Europa-Park for Kids

On Easter Sunday and Monday, April 20 and 21, 2025, Europa-Park invites families to a unique art event. Renowned cartoonist Peter Gaymann will welcome children aged five and up in the blue fire Dome in the Icelandic themed area. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., young guests can unleash their creativity under his guidance.

An Art Event Celebrating Europe

The Easter event revolves around the theme of Europe. Peter Gaymann joins the children in painting a life-sized white bull adorned with European flags, country symbols, chickens, and Europa-Park motifs. The 74-year-old artist, originally from Freiburg and now living near Munich, brings decades of experience to the event. With over 100 books and around 20,000 drawings, he captivates audiences, especially through his humorous chickens, widely recognized under the signature P.GAY in magazines, postcards, and calendars.

Interactive Highlights for Young Artists

The event becomes especially engaging on Easter Monday, when children can sit on the decorated bull, inspired by the Europa myth, while Polaroid photos are taken and later displayed. Participants also receive country flags and coloring sheets featuring European flags or Gaymann’s sketches, which they can personalize. These keepsakes ensure the art event leaves a lasting impression.

Why Peter Gaymann and Europa-Park Are a Perfect Match

Peter Gaymann looks forward to the collaboration: “For many years, I’ve followed the remarkable growth of Europa-Park. It offers something for every visitor, young or old, whether it’s fun, celebration, or simply strolling through. Anyone with open eyes can see the incredible attention to detail in everything.” Europa-Park owner Roland Mack adds: “Peter Gaymann is a perfect fit for Europa-Park. He’s incredibly charming, witty, and deeply connected to his roots. A brilliant artist with a keen eye for observation.”

A Creative Experience for Young Visitors

The art event gives children a chance to explore their creativity while meeting one of Germany’s most celebrated cartoonists. With his playful humor, Gaymann creates an inviting atmosphere, encouraging participants to dive into artistic activities with enthusiasm.
