Last weekend, Europa-Park transformed into an arena for young football talents. The Mega Dribbler European Final brought together prospects from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Czechia. In thrilling duels, the top dribblers qualified for the grand finale. The event celebrated athletic achievements and team spirit in a unique theme park setting.
Qualification from Thousands of Camps
The path to the final began in 2025 with around 250 "11teamsports Academy Camps" in 120 cities. About 15,000 children took part in these events, completing an impressive 91,000 dribbles in total. From this pool, 240 participants qualified to showcase their skills at Europa-Park. The selection of the best young female and male dribblers was based strictly on performance in their respective age groups.
A Football Festival for the Whole Family
The Mega Dribbler European Final at Europa-Park was more than just a competition; it offered young participants, their families, and fans an emotional sports experience at the highest level. The professionally staged event left lasting impressions and motivated the talents for the coming year, 2026. Dribbling skills contested across six age classes were at the center, igniting passion for football.
Thrilling Final and Attractive Prizes
In the weekend's highlight, the qualified competitors faced off in the grand finale. After intense and captivating contests, six winners were crowned. The winners will receive an exclusive meet-and-greet with a Bundesliga professional as well as a high-quality equipment package from partner Nike. These rewards highlight appreciation for the young athletes and support their entry into the world of professional football.
Vision of a Strong Partnership Network
"With our strong partners and the unique setting of Europa-Park, we create an event that uniquely combines athletic development, enthusiasm, and team spirit," emphasized Maik Franz, CEO of 11teamsports Academy GmbH. These words capture the essence of the Mega Dribbler European Final: a platform that offers not only competition but also long-term inspiration.
The 11teamsports Academy Football Camp as an Entry Point
Behind the event stands the 11teamsports football camp, inviting children and youths aged 6 to 14 during holidays to an unforgettable football experience. Developed by former pro Maik Franz, the camp conveys the values of sport in a playful way, shares tips and tricks for physical and mental strength, and introduces age-appropriate healthy nutrition. Supervision, movement, and excitement are at the forefront, complemented by the football universe of 11teamsports and Nike—with plenty of fun and surprises.
