The Walt Disney World Resort is gearing up for 2026 with 10 new and revamped attractions and experiences, complemented by nine returning festivals and special events. Guests can look forward to magical adventures throughout the year, from renovated roller coasters to family-friendly dining plans. These new offerings promise unforgettable visits to Florida.

Year-Round Benefits for Family Stays

Guests staying at one of the more than 25 Disney Resort hotels will receive a free dining plan for children ages 3 to 9 throughout 2026. This offer activates once a dining plan for family members ages 10 and older is booked as part of the package. The plans allow relaxed explorations with a variety of meals, snacks and kid-friendly options. The free kids' dining plan can be combined with other select special offers, keeping guests eligible for future deals in 2026.

Further Discoveries in Parks and Disney Springs

At the Walt Disney World Resort, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away!” will debut in Magic Kingdom Park, new entertainment will debut in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the redesigned Test Track presented by General Motors will roll out at EPCOT, and “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” will take over Disney’s Animal Kingdom—ensuring the magic continues to grow. LEVEL99 will open in 2026 on the West Side of Disney Springs with more than 60 themed challenge rooms, duels and scavenger hunts. Refreshed rooms in the Disney Resorts Collection promise greater comfort for every stay.

January to February: Creative Transformations at EPCOT

Starting in February 2026, “Frozen Ever After” at EPCOT will feature newly designed Audio-Animatronics figures of Anna, Elsa and Kristoff. These figures will gain a film-accurate appearance, inspired by the advancements in the “World of Frozen” at Hong Kong Disneyland, as announced in 2025. From Jan. 16 to Feb. 23, 2026, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will transform the park into a creative dreamscape with artisanal dishes, stunning art and Broadway tunes from Disney on Broadway shows and stars.

Disney After Hours will kick off on select evenings in 2026. This separately ticketed event after park closing offers adventures in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, explorations in EPCOT or enchanted nights in Magic Kingdom. Select snacks and beverages are included in the ticket price.

Spring: Blooming Splendor and Action-Packed Upgrades

From March 4 to June 1, 2026, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom. Guests will be surrounded by playful topiaries and lush gardens, sample delicious bites at the Outdoor Kitchens and listen to live music in the Garden Rocks Concert Series. In spring 2026, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom will reopen after a comprehensive renovation with new magical accents from the ravine to the mountaintop. The expanded “Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin” in Magic Kingdom will continue the galactic battles, equipped with updated vehicles, new hand-blasters and interactive targets.

Summer: Family Action, Water Worlds and Stellar Missions

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER will deliver new and refreshed attractions plus time-limited fun across all parks in summer 2026. High-energy dance experiences like “GoofyCore” in EPCOT, interactive character games across the four parks and special ticket deals will provide variety, with guests able to check back in January for details on new ways to save on a vacation to the world’s most magical place. For guests at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, the free water park admission ticket on arrival day—included in the stay—will return; dates to be announced later.

“Disney H2O Glow After Hours” will light up Typhoon Lagoon in summer 2026 with DJ dance parties, Disney characters, water attractions and free ice cream, popcorn and select beverages after sunset. From May 29 to 30, 2026, “Banana Ball” will take place at ESPN Wide World of Sports; tickets including food and drinks will soon be available for fans, with the lottery list currently closed.

Starting in summer 2026, the Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom will feature an excursion with Bluey and Bingo. Guests will play favorite games from Bluey episodes with an animal twist—like Butterfly Keepy Uppy—take photos with the Blue Heelers and discover Australian animals outdoors. In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” will premiere in summer 2026 with cheerful melodies and dance in the newly designed Walt Disney Studios area. Mickey and Minnie will embark on a road trip quest to find Goofy, Daisy and Pluto for the party—the show is already running at Disneyland Resort.

Later in summer 2026, “The Magic of Disney Animation” in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open the doors to the world of Walt Disney Animation Studios. Animated characters will leap from portraits, a playground based on Mary Blair’s concept art for “Alice in Wonderland” and “Off the Page!”—a collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering—will emerge. Six departments featuring characters like Mulan or Rapunzel will offer photogenic moments in story, layout and other areas.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will race through Disney’s Hollywood Studios in summer 2026. Fans of the Aerosmith version can continue riding the original until spring 2026, before the red carpet is rolled out for the Muppets, allowing them to keep riding, rocking and rolling. On May 22, 2026, a new mission will land in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, themed around “The Mandalorian and Grogu.” For Memorial Day 2026, the refreshed experience “Soarin’ Across America” will debut at EPCOT with immersive flights and breathtaking views across the United States, as part of the company-wide “Disney Celebrates America” celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Fall: Culinary Journeys and Halloween Thrills

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival in 2026 will invite guests on a park-wide culinary journey, with Global Marketplaces, the popular Eat to the Beat Concert Series and endless opportunities to celebrate flavors and cultures from around the world. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will return on select evenings in Magic Kingdom, featuring beloved spooky entertainment, enchanting drinks and bites, and cherished mysterious character greetings—separately ticketed.

Winter: Festive Glamour and Traditions

Disney Jollywood Nights will blend holiday joy with Hollywood glamour in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on select evenings in 2026. This event will celebrate the season stylishly with themed entertainment, festive foods and drinks, plenty of character greetings and, of course, everything that spells glitz and glamour—separately ticketed. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom will bring seasonal entertainment, delicious foods and exclusive merchandise on select evenings in a full program. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, presented by AdventHealth, will share stories near and far from Holiday Storytellers, serve delicious comfort dishes at Holiday Kitchens and let guests experience the magnificent Candlelight Processional, ensuring there’s something to celebrate for everyone.
