Parc Astérix 2026: Egypt Adventure Starts April 4 – New Rides & Free Kids Entry!

Parc Astérix is kicking off the 2026 season in full swing – and fans of immersive theming and family-friendly thrills have every reason to be excited. From April 4, the revamped Egypt Zone becomes the new must-visit spot: Cleopatra and the Egyptian gods themselves welcome guests of all ages to an adventure packed with real thrills, spectacular details and pure magic.

The full redesign turns the area into a highlight for every generation. The former Oxygénarium is reborn as La Descente du Nil – a completely reimagined water ride with fresh scenery, a themed queue and brand-new sensations. You glide spectacularly along the Nile under the watchful eyes of the gods, and the experience hits you with instant goosebumps and pure excitement.

Right next door, L’Envol d’Ibis lets you soar ten meters above a lush water garden filled with fountains and rich vegetation. The old Chaises Volantes have been transformed into a light, refreshing yet still breathtaking family ride – perfect for anyone who wants fun without the extreme forces.

Two new dining highlights round things off: the buffet restaurant Les Comptoirs d’Épidemaïs (opening in June) with oriental flavors and the already open Les Fastes du Nil – a warm, light-filled oasis with an exotic menu that even picked up the 2025 Park World Excellence Award for “Best Food or Retail Development.”

From spring onward, the show Les Offrandes de Cléopâtre returns in a completely new version: Cleopatra and her courtiers bring the OzIris esplanade to life with dances, music and direct guest interaction – truly lively and immersive.

The crowning family addition is Cétautomatix, an innovative spinning coaster inspired by the famous Gaulish blacksmith Automatix. Accessible from just one meter tall, it delivers controlled thrills, plenty of dynamism and lots of humor thanks to rotating cars that feel different every single ride.

The adventure doesn’t end at the park gates: The three themed hotels – Les Quais de Lutèce****, Cité Suspendue*** and Les Trois Hiboux*** – are nestled right in the forest and offer 30 minutes of early access before official opening. Perfect for relaxed family days.

Money-saving tip: Until May 7, 2026, kids under 12 enter completely free Monday through Friday (except public holidays) with online booking. Parc Astérix is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
