Starting May 8, 2024, visitors at Parc Astérix can once again experience the Gallic Banquet. Set in the heart of Asterix’s village, this event offers an immersive experience centered around the beloved comic book characters.
Unique Culinary Experience
Visitors to Parc Astérix on May 8, 9, 10, 11, 18, and 19, as well as from July 13 to August 31, have the opportunity to partake in the Gallic Banquet. This event promises a deeply immersive culinary journey within the iconic setting of Asterix's village.
Atmosphere and Entertainment
Guests will be welcomed into a vibrant scene, pre-set by characters from the beloved Asterix stories such as Majestix, Gutemine, Falbala, and, of course, Obelix, all engaging in the preparatory activities. The table settings feature Vichy-check tablecloths, earthenware dishes, and Celtic drinking horns, enhancing the thematic atmosphere. The buffet includes an array of offerings, such as cured meats, fish, seafood, vegetables, main courses, cheese, desserts, and the signature wild boar.
Interaction and Experience
During the banquet, Majestix and other characters deliver welcoming speeches and provide entertainment, while Troubadix contributes musical interludes. Dance performances and other acts complete the immersive experience.
Reservations and Practical Information
There are two time slots available: 6:45 PM and 8:45 PM. Due to the popularity of the event, advance reservations are recommended, priced at €59 per adult and €29 per child up to 17 years old, inclusive. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the banquet will be relocated to the Le Relais Gaulois restaurant.
