Toverland Celebrates 25th Anniversary with 25-Hour Magic Marathon

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Toverland is inviting fans to immerse themselves in pure magic for a full 25 hours. The popular Dutch theme park is presenting the spectacular ToverFestival “25 Hours of Magic” – an event destined to make history in true Toverland style.

From 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, Toverland will remain open for 25 straight hours. Visitors can look forward to themed five-hour blocks filled with highlights from the park’s 25-year history, ranging from its origins and lively parties to the mysterious magic of the night.

“For our anniversary we wanted to do something that truly fits Toverland,” explains Luke Verhoeven, Manager Entertainment. “That’s why we decided to bring all our past highlights together in one big ToverFestival. And with the idea of a 25-hour event, we were able to include even more exclusive and unique activities. This way we’re making history again!”

The absolute highlights include an XXL parade that combines the best moments from summer, Halloween and winter, action-packed laser gaming with vampires and Halloween characters, and a breathtaking fireworks show. Those who make it through all the blocks and stay for the entire 25 hours will be rewarded with an exclusive anniversary pin.

After the festival, Toverland stays open until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. This means dedicated fans can spend up to 33 hours straight in the park – a record that’s only possible for this special anniversary.

Throughout the anniversary year, Toverland will be dressed in festive decorations, and its own anniversary song will play at various locations. History fans will particularly enjoy “Exploria Historia” along one of the walking paths – an exhibition with museum boards that takes visitors on a journey through 25 years of magic.
