The Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party is returning to Disney California Adventure Park, promising Halloween mischief for guests of all ages. This separately ticketed after-hours event takes place on select evenings from August 17 to October 31, 2025. At the time of publication, tickets are available for certain August dates, offering an exciting way to start the spooky festivities early with Summerween.
What is included in the Oogie Boogie Bash ticket?
The party officially starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 11 p.m., providing five hours full of exclusive Halloween experiences that can only be found at this after-hours soiree. Tickets include admission to Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3 p.m., three hours before the party begins, allowing guests to enjoy the regular park offerings. Unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the party are included in the ticket. Guests scan the QR code on their event wristband via the Disneyland app to access their photo gallery and can download the images from their MyDisney account as often as desired, up to 45 days after the first capture. Each ticket comes with a beautifully designed event guide map, which serves as a practical reference during the party and later as a collectible keepsake to remember the visit.
Tips on costumes and dress code for Oogie Boogie Bash
Guests are invited to dress up and wear creative costumes that are devilish or villainous, as long as the costume guidelines are followed. A talented team of Disney stylists at Tenaya Stone Spa in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers makeup and hairstyling inspired by classic Disney characters and princesses. In addition to the Treat Trails, there are encounters with Disney characters in Halloween outfits and rarely appearing friends at special locations in the park.
"Frightfully Fun Parade"
The Frightfully Fun Parade takes place at 7:45 p.m. and 10 p.m., featuring figures like the Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow, Jack Skellington from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, and cheerful ghosts from the Haunted Mansion, parading through the streets of Disney California Adventure Park. It is a devilish gathering that can only be experienced during Oogie Boogie Bash. For an additional fee, the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party can be booked. This includes preferred seating for the parade, delicious treats like freeze-dried fruit with gummy worms, blueberry ooze cake, and mini cupcakes, along with beverages and a collectible enamel pin. Villains Grove at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail transforms into a walkthrough through surreal scenic landscapes inspired by Disney villains like Dr. Facilier, Frollo, and Scar. Mystical lights, sights, and sounds immerse guests in the auras of these villains.

During the party, guests benefit from shorter wait times at select attractions. This makes it a great opportunity to experience popular ones like Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark, Toy Story Midway Mania with special nods to the 70th Celebration, and Incredicoaster.
