Broadway Dreams Camp 2025 at Europa-Park

The Broadway Dreams Camp returns to the TALENT ACADEMY at Europa-Park in Rust from August 16 to 22, 2025. For the sixth time in a row, the facility transforms into a stage for international talents. Initiated by Katja Mack, founder and director of the TALENT ACADEMY, this partnership with the Broadway Dreams Foundation began in 2018. Participants aged nine and up will experience a seven-day intensive training in singing, dance, and acting with professionals from Broadway.

A Touch of Broadway in Rust

From August 16 to 22, 2025, the Broadway Dreams Camp takes place at the TALENT ACADEMY in Europa-Park. A hint of New York City sweeps through Rust once again, where Broadway magic meets Europa-Park. The participants, cast by the Broadway Dreams Foundation, work for seven days alongside stars, coaches, and creatives straight from Broadway. In workshops on singing, dance, and acting, they discover their artistic strengths and grow personally. The shared mission is to nurture talents, make dreams possible, and let them breathe real stage air. The highlight is the Broadway Dreams Camp Show on August 22 in the Teatro in the Italian themed area of Europa-Park. This show is staged by Broadway greats and offers an emotional, energy-packed performance full of goosebump moments. Producers and industry professionals from the international entertainment world will be present to discover new talents and enable first steps into a professional stage career.

Program Schedule of the Camp

On August 16, 2025, the camp begins with arrival at the hotel or the TALENT ACADEMY, followed by a get-together with all participants. Next comes an audition where participants present their skills to the coaches. The evening concludes with the welcome event Flames & Friends – Welcome BBQ with a campfire in the Silver Lake City at Europa-Park. Participants without a hotel package bring their own food. From August 17 to 21, rehearsals and workshops take place in the studios and the Europa-Park Teatro. On August 22, there is staging and general rehearsal in the Teatro, followed by the show and an after-show party. Departure occurs on August 23. The camp includes theater, dance, and singing workshops depending on skills, workshops with Broadway celebrities from New York, a closing show in the Teatro, international exchange, and an unforgettable experience. Entry to Europa-Park is included for participants and can be used before or after rehearsals, depending on opening hours.

Registration, Costs, and Accommodation

Registrations for the Broadway Dreams Camp are possible until August 9, 2025, via broadwaydreams.org. The participation fee is 399 USD. About 60 participants will be selected from the applications, starting from age nine for all age groups. Registration occurs exclusively through the Broadway Dreams Foundation website. Confirmation arrives about 10 days after registration. Tickets for the show on August 22 are available in the Europa-Park ticket shop or by phone at 07822 77-6688. For catering, there is a mandatory package of 35 euros for August 21 from around 4 p.m. and all day on August 22, including meals, snacks, and drinks in the Europa-Park Teatro, excluding the after-show party. This package is paid on August 16 at the TALENT ACADEMY. Special allergens or dietary needs should be indicated during booking at [email protected]. Optional packages include a hotel arrangement at Hotel El Andaluz, bookable until July 5, 2025, at [email protected] with the keyword Broadway Dreams Camp 2025, which waives the mandatory package. A camp arrangement in a covered wagon in Silver Lake City is bookable until July 15 with Tyson Francis at [email protected], also waiving the mandatory package. A catering package during workshops without hotel accommodation includes meals, snacks, and drinks during rehearsal time, in the evening on August 21, and all day on August 22, excluding dinners from August 16 to 20 and the after-show party. This must be notified by August 9 at [email protected] and includes the mandatory package. The catering package cannot be booked on a daily basis. All travel costs are borne by the participants themselves. In cooperation with the Broadway Dreams Foundation, the TALENT ACADEMY and Europa-Park are organizing the Broadway Dreams Camp for the sixth time.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation in Focus

The Broadway Dreams Foundation is an international nonprofit organization based in the USA. It was founded in 2006 by Annette Tanner, who comes from the casting and production world of Broadway and supports and promotes young people worldwide with a keen sense for talents and diversity. Its goal is to provide hope, inspiration, and perspective through performing arts. For over 18 years, the foundation has been promoting young talents in the performing arts. Programs have been implemented in over 55 cities in the USA and Canada, as well as in eight other countries, including Brazil, New Zealand, and since 2018 in Germany at the TALENT ACADEMY in Europa-Park in Rust. In total, more than 20,000 artists have participated. Over 150 former participants have made the leap to Broadway or national and international touring productions. Mentorship is central: The Broadway coaches accompany the young talents during the camp as personal mentors and create real, long-term connections across national borders, languages, and cultures. The core values are access, inclusion, empowerment, and excellence, to open doors to professional stages worldwide for artists regardless of origin, social status, or income.

The TALENT ACADEMY as a Platform

The TALENT ACADEMY at Europa-Park was founded by Katja Mack and stands for individual talent development at the highest level. It serves as a platform for creative unfolding, continuous development, and holistic personality building. Young people grow in areas such as dance, music, art, or acrobatics in an appreciative and professional environment.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Camp

The Broadway Dreams Camp is suitable for anyone who enjoys dancing, singing, or acting, including pure singers or dancers. Participation is recommended from age nine, as experiences from previous years show that participation below that age is not advisable. There is no upper age limit. Registrations at the TALENT ACADEMY are not possible; they occur only via the Broadway website. Instruction is in English, but creativity has its own language, and translation is provided if needed. Accompanying persons are not permitted during rehearsals and general rehearsal, including in the backstage area. Costumes for the show are provided by Europa-Park and the TALENT ACADEMY, though some participants may need to bring their own clothing like leggings; information on this comes during the camp. The schedule is sent to participants about a week before from Broadway Dreams. At the auditions on the first day, participants meet the coaches, introduce themselves briefly in English – with an interpreter if needed – and present dance or singing. Singing is mandatory for all, with preparation of a short song of at least one minute; reading lyrics is allowed, and melody can be played via phone. The auditions serve for placement in the show, not evaluation. When booking the hotel arrangement, a catering package is included, covering small lunches, snacks, dinners, and non-alcoholic drinks in the buffet restaurants Harborside or Antica Roma, as well as a buffet at the welcome grill evening. Allergies should be indicated during hotel booking. Dinners take place together on August 16, and individually in the restaurants from 6 to 9 p.m. on the following days, with reservation. Accompanying persons can stay in the room for an extra charge, but the catering package and park entry apply only to participants. Those not needing hotel accommodation can book the catering package during workshops, including drinks, coffee, tea, and daily meals or snacks; dinner is not included. The mandatory package of 35 euros applies for August 21 and 22 in the Teatro, as brought food often proved insufficient in the past. The Flames & Friends – Welcome BBQ on August 16 from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. in Silver Lake City offers a relaxed Western atmosphere by the campfire for getting to know each other. For participants with a hotel package, a small buffet is provided; without a package, they bring their own grill items. Silver Lake City can be reached by car, bus, or EP Express.
