Easter at Europa-Park: Paint Giant XXL Eggs with Peter Gaymann

Once again the Easter basket at Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort is filled to the brim. From April 3 to 6, visitors can look forward to a host of fun activities for the whole family. Creative painting sessions with popular cartoonist Peter Gaymann, an adventurous Easter trail and cheerful surprises in Rulantica water world are guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face.

The youngest guests in particular will have a blast. On Easter Sunday and Easter Monday (April 5 and 6), Peter Gaymann invites children to the France themed area. Between 10 a.m. and noon and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., kids aged five and older can paint a giant XXL Easter egg over two meters tall together with the artist. Gaymann is on hand to offer advice and practical help, and sketches by the cartoonist are also available for the children to color themselves.

From April 3 to 6, the area around Schloss Balthasar turns into a colorful Easter village. An Easter obstacle course, egg-and-spoon races and vibrant spring decorations invite everyone to join in. Anyone who completes all the stations wins sweet prizes. The Easter village is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and included in the ticket price.

The popular hunt for golden Easter eggs is back too. Every day the Easter Bunny hides ten golden eggs throughout the park. Lucky finders simply hand their egg in at one of the information points and receive a large Easter basket packed with great surprises.

Rulantica water world also has plenty of Easter fun in store from April 3 to 6. There’s an Easter egg hunt with the chance to win a surprise Easter basket, plus a wheel of fortune, children’s disco and daily Easter bingo sessions. On Sunday and Monday from 1 p.m. the Rulantica Vibes XXL with DJ music in the Frigg Temple bring spring party vibes. Colorful animations and performances by Europa-Park artists round off the program nicely.

On Easter Monday, April 6, at 2:30 p.m., the “Church in Europa-Park” invites everyone to the traditional Easter Monday service in the “Santa Isabel” hotel. Under the motto “Flower Power” the whole family can enjoy an interactive service with musical accompaniment. From April 2 to 5, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., there’s also a special Easter activity at the Norwegian Stave Church in the Scandinavian themed area.
