Europa-Park Eurosat Mummy for World Toilet Day 2025 with Goldeimer

For World Toilet Day on November 19 November 2025, Europa-Park will digitally transform its iconic Eurosat – CanCan Coaster into a giant mummy wrapped in toilet paper. The gleaming white spherical structure glows softly while virtual toilet paper flutters artfully around it. In partnership with the nonprofit organisation Goldeimer and Hamburg-based artist Patrick Vogel, Germany’s largest theme park is delivering a bold, humorous, and visually striking message about an issue that affects 3.4 billion people worldwide yet remains largely taboo.

The entirely digital art installation fits perfectly into the unique HALLOWinter season, where spooky thrills meet winter magic, while simultaneously spotlighting the global lack of safe sanitation. While Europa-Park guests take clean toilets for granted, billions of people live without this basic human necessity. The campaign invites Instagram users to look closer, ask questions, and reflect on hygiene, health, and human dignity.

Established by the World Toilet Organization, World Toilet Day is observed annually on 19 November to remind the world that safe sanitation is a human right. Its focus is safely managed human faeces without spreading disease or contaminating soil and water. Traditional pit latrines threaten groundwater; centralised sewer systems are often unfeasible and consume vast amounts of fresh water. Goldeimer tackles these challenges by promoting ecological, circular solutions that conserve resources and recover nutrients. Toilets save lives, protect the environment, improve access to education, advance gender equality, and enable a life of dignity. With the slogan “Toilets for all! All for toilets!”, Goldeimer supports projects that contribute to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6.

Micha Fritz, Goldeimer supporter and conceptual activist, says: “Access to a safe toilet determines health, dignity, and future opportunities. That Europa-Park is using its immense spotlight to make this issue visible shows how powerfully entertainment and responsibility can work together — and how much potential lies in creative alliances for a fairer world.”

Europa-Park enlisted Hamburg-based designer and artist Patrick Vogel for the visual execution. Originally from Westphalia and now based in Hamburg, Vogel began as an architect before infusing his street art roots, action sports energy, and high-tech expertise into his work. Today he fuses technology, entertainment, art, and design into dynamic, razor-sharp visuals that international brands trust for impactful statements.

The campaign is seamlessly woven into the HALLOWinter season, running 3–28 November 2025, where snow-dusted fir trees meet glowing pumpkins. More than 100 attractions and shows, lovingly designed themed areas, and diverse dining options create unforgettable family experiences. Guests seeking more can enjoy weather-independent fun at Rulantica water world with its huge indoor and outdoor areas and relaxation zones, or stay in the resort’s themed hotels and unique accommodations for a short break filled with adventure, inspiration, and social impact.

The Instagram reel featuring the Eurosat mummy goes live on 19 November 2025 at 8 a.m. on instagram.com/europapark.
