April promises a wealth of spring magic and varied entertainment for the whole family at the Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort. From magical Easter activities to cultural theme festivals, glamorous shows and a spectacular balloon festival – there are countless reasons to visit around Germany’s largest theme park.
Sundays get off to a particularly enjoyable start all year round. On selected Sundays as well as on Easter Monday, the Diner Station invites guests to a delicious Country Brunch in Silver Lake City. At the same time, the Bubba Svens restaurant in the Krønasår Hotel offers a relaxed Sunday brunch. Also throughout the year, the historic Schloss Balthasar transports its visitors back to the 15th century: At the Alemannic Knight’s Feast, guests can look forward to an authentic four-course banquet presented by the lord of the castle in medieval attire and accompanied by minstrels and jesters.
From April 3 to 6, the castle park in front of Schloss Balthasar turns into a magical Easter village. Families can experience spring joys and Easter traditions up close. Little guests can get creative in exciting hands-on activities, go on an Easter egg hunt and enjoy traditional games – a festival full of fun, magic and unforgettable family moments.
At the same time, Snorri’s Easter action in the Rulantica water world provides water fun with an Easter twist. A daily Easter egg hunt in all areas of the water world invites discovery, complemented by a lucky wheel, the children’s disco at the Skip Strand stage and a daily Easter bingo action. On Sunday and Monday from 1:00 p.m. the Rulantica Vibes XXL with DJ music in the Frigg Temple are on the program. Snorri’s Easter action is rounded off by colorful animations and performances by the artists from Europa-Park.
On Easter Monday, April 6, an ecumenical Easter service by the Church in the Europa-Park will take place at 2:30 p.m. in the Santa Isabel Hotel.
On April 10, the Europa-Park Arena will shine in the glamour of the Radio Regenbogen Award. World stars, red carpet and a glamorous awards ceremony with culinary highlights await the guests. Presenter Mareile Höppner will host the evening.
From April 18 to 19, everything revolves around the Netherlands: During the Dutch Festival, the Dutch theme area shines with tulip splendor, landmarks, traditions and typical Dutch specialties.
For all comedy fans, April 24 is a must. In her fifth stage program as part of “Good Evening Europe,” Hazel Brugger tells in her usual dry and pointed way about expectations, success and everyday life between glamour and the supermarket.
From April 25 to 26, it is “Bella Italia!” at the Italian Festival. The oldest European theme area takes center stage – guests learn about Italian traditions and culture and experience a special musical highlight on both days.
The crowning finale is the Balloon Festival from April 30 to May 2. More than 20 colorful hot air balloons conquer the sky above the Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort. Balloon rides open up views from a bird’s eye perspective from the Black Forest over the Rhine Plain to the Vosges.
