First Communion Children Donate in Europa-Park to Einfach Helfen e.V.

In the Silver Lake City of Europa-Park, First Communion children from the region gathered traditionally at the end of the school year to hand over donations to Mauritia Mack, the first chairwoman of the association "Einfach Helfen e.V." Together with community representative Rosi Haas from the Seelsorgeeinheit Maria Frieden, the students from Sulz and Schwanau decided to forgo reciprocal gifts and instead direct the money to children in challenging life situations, enabling them to receive urgently needed therapy sessions.

Thanks and Motivation from the Association Chairwoman

Mauritia Mack accepted the donations and thanked the First Communion children. She encouraged them to continue their social engagement. "It is not a given that you are committing yourselves to the common good at such a young age. In doing so, you are not only shaping your own future but also trying to improve your surroundings today," she said.

Presentation of the Association's Work

Following that, Mauritia Mack and secretary Gabi Ehret presented the important work of the association "Einfach Helfen e.V." The association has existed since 2008 and aims to support families in the region who have fallen into existential distress due to a serious illness or a fateful event.

Appreciation from the Community Representative

During the donation handover, Rosi Haas expressed her appreciation for Mauritia Mack and the team of "Einfach Helfen e.V." She praised the outstanding work that the association carries out voluntarily every day.
