International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo Meets Europa-Park

To mark the 50th anniversary of Europa-Park during the winter season, the "Winter Circus Revue" transforms into "Monte-Carlo Circus Festival Meets Europa-Park." Visitors can experience a spectacular show lasting over one hour and featuring top-tier artists. The collaboration between the world-famous International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo and Germany's largest theme park brings international circus art to the park.

The show takes place in an even larger circus tent than before. An LED floor and a newly designed circus portal create an impressive atmosphere. Well-known acts from the circus festival in Monaco are part of the program.

Just Two Men present an impressive aerial straps performance. Dog trainer Wolfgang Lauenburger demonstrates his skills. Troupe Bingo opens the show spectacularly. The versatile comedian and singer Cesar Dias also performs.

The Mustache Brothers deliver cheeky comedy in classic circus style. Troupe Demian captivates with breathtaking acrobatics. Both acts will also appear at the circus festival in Monte-Carlo in the coming years. The charming moderator Wolf Fisher guides the audience through the program.

Urs Pilz, president of the Monte-Carlo Festival, explains: “It is a magnificent circus show with many world-class artists. The festival was founded in 1974 by Prince Rainier III. His goal: to give artists a stage that does justice to their art—in the glamorous setting of Monte-Carlo.”

From this idea emerged a global event. The "Golden Clown" is considered the highest award in the festival and the circus world. Whoever receives it has written circus history. The Monegasque princely family stands behind the festival wholeheartedly to this day.

Princess Stephanie continues her father's work. She is the patron and regularly sits in the front row, as close to the ring as the audience itself. The connection of the House of Grimaldi to the circus is deep and personal.

Europa-Park's partnership with this legendary festival is also thanks to Roland Mack. The founder of Europa-Park was appointed in January 2025 by the Fédération Mondiale du Cirque as "Ambassadeur du Cirque." This honorary title is awarded worldwide to only a few and stands for exceptional commitment to circus art.

Urs Pilz emphasizes: “The Mack family has never understood the circus as mere entertainment, but as an emotional form of culture. Whether in opulent dinner shows, at open-air events, or on the park's stages—the circus lives in Europa-Park. With the TALENT ACADEMY, the Mack family also promotes young artists and gives them space to develop.”
