In LEGOLAND Billund, visitors set a new record during the Halloween season by building 6,864 LEGO brick pumpkins in the LEGOLAND Gallery, surpassing the 2023 record of 6,863 by one. The creations formed an impressive display on the park's central pumpkin field.
During the autumn holidays, many visitors participated in the activity, showcasing a variety of creative designs. Helgi Sigurdsson, events manager at LEGOLAND, expressed delight at the participation. "During the autumn holidays, we had a lot of visitors who stopped by the LEGOLAND Gallery and built pumpkins. It was a great joy to see how many different ideas for LEGO pumpkins the guests had during their Halloween visit to the park. We hope the popularity continues so that we might break another record next year," he said.
Additionally, students from Lyshøjskolen in Kolding, Frederiksbjerg Skole in Aarhus, and Sønderlandsskolen in Holstebro contributed 1,362 LEGO pumpkins. These first- to third-grade students participated in workshops organized by LEGOLAND and LEGO Education in September.
At the end of the Halloween season, a total of 8,226 LEGO pumpkins stood on the pumpkin field in LEGOLAND Billund.
