Walibi Belgium Seeks 380 Monsters for Ibilaw 2025

Walibi Belgium is gearing up for the second edition of Ibilaw, a chilling parallel world that will terrify visitors from October 11 to November 2, 2025. To bring this eerie experience to life, the theme park is urgently seeking 380 collaborators, including 320 extras, 40 makeup artists, 9 costume designers, and 5 scare trainers to join Bill’s sinister realm.

Massive Recruitment Drive for Halloween Talent

To make the 2025 Halloween season unforgettable, Walibi Belgium has launched an extensive recruitment campaign. The park is looking for passionate individuals available between October 11 and November 2 to animate the Ibilaw experience. Extras need no prior experience, only enthusiasm for surprising or scaring guests in haunting roles. Makeup artists and costume designers will transform dozens of extras into terrifying creatures daily, while scare trainers prepare the team for their performances. Applicants should ideally be of legal age and available on evenings, weekends, and during school holidays.

How to Apply for Bill’s Crew

Those eager to join Bill’s frightful team can apply until July 18 via the “Jobs” page on the Walibi Belgium-Aqualibi website. Applicants select their desired role - extra, makeup artist, costume designer, or scare trainer - and complete a brief questionnaire. Submitting a short introductory video is highly recommended to stand out. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to castings, with dates varying by role. Makeup artists can attend on July 27, July 30, August 10, or August 13, while extras are scheduled for July 28, August 1, August 4, August 5, or August 6. Additional dates may be added if needed.

Ibilaw: A Terrifying Highlight

Last autumn, Ibilaw debuted to captivate countless visitors. In this parallel world, the character Bill reigns supreme, immersing the park in an atmosphere of pure dread. The inaugural edition marked a turning point for Walibi Belgium, sparking immense enthusiasm among guests and staff alike. Antoine Stasse, Recruitment Manager at Walibi Belgium-Aqualibi, stated: “The creation of Ibilaw was a milestone for our visitors and teams. This campaign attracts passionate and curious individuals each year, drawn to the unique intensity of Walibi’s Halloween experience.” Halloween has become an unmissable event at the park, enchanting both guests and participants.
