Ratatouille Renovation Unveils New Secret Recipe

In October 2025, the popular family attraction Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy in the Walt Disney Studios Park at Disney Adventure World will temporarily close for a major renovation. The teams from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and Disneyland Paris are creating something truly special, putting their all into refreshing and enhancing this iconic attraction. The renewed attraction will reopen to guests in spring 2026.

New Experiences in the Queue

Upon the attraction's reopening in 2026, guests will discover an expanded queue featuring a new scene depicting a Parisian artist's studio. This scene overflows with details and accessories, such as canvases on the walls, paint splatters, and a fruit basket that could certainly whet the appetite of all the charming rats in the neighborhood.

Improvements Inside the Attraction

Inside the Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy attraction, new props will be added, complemented by enhanced projections and larger-than-life props as well as set pieces specially crafted by Disney Imagineers. These elements add extra flavor to the key scenes and heighten guests' perception of being shrunk to the size of Remy and his friends.

Technical Upgrades and Modernization

This renovation includes a generous helping of technical upgrades and scenic enhancements, all carefully designed to provide guests with an even more immersive experience in the world of the Pixar Animation Studios film Ratatouille. The renovation also offers the perfect opportunity to modernize the attraction's technical equipment, including replacing all video projectors with state-of-the-art models. The upgrade encompasses the projection of improved video media in the attraction, delivering optimal visual quality. With these additions and after several months of testing and guest surveys, the attraction's media content will now be permanently projected in 2D.

Disneyland Paris Commitment

Following the extensive recent renovations of Le Pays des Contes de Fées and Big Thunder Mountain, as well as the current renovations of Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, the improvements to Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy reflect Disneyland Paris's commitment to offering guests the very best experience on every visit. Stay tuned as this appetizing transformation takes shape!
