On March 29, 2026, World of Frozen will open in Disney Adventure World—the new name for Walt Disney Studios Park—offering guests a truly immersive journey to Arendelle, the beloved kingdom from 'Frozen'. Alongside the new attraction 'Frozen Ever After' and a variety of dining and shopping options, visitors will have the chance to meet Anna and Elsa in an exclusive, one-of-a-kind experience available only at Disneyland Paris.
During this royal encounter, guests will feel as though they are stepping into Arendelle Castle, its doors opened exceptionally for the Snowflower Festival. As celebrations fill the kingdom, Anna and Elsa welcome visitors to private audiences inside the castle.
The interior features numerous references to the animated film 'Frozen'. In the waiting area, guests will recognize several paintings that Anna dances in front of during the sequence “For the First Time in Forever,” including a redesigned version of the famous painting “The Swing” by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. On opposite sides of the room hang two family portraits: one depicting Anna and Elsa as children with their parents, the other showing the sisters as adults alongside Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. For Emma Yeates, Senior Manager Show Design at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, this space holds special significance: “It allows guests to truly feel transported into Arendelle Castle. From the wallpaper to the paintings, we have recreated iconic elements from Frozen, supplemented by portraits of royal family members to enhance this sense of authenticity.”
The encounter room itself is equally impressive. A grand painting of King Agnarr’s coronation displays the orb and scepter—the symbols of Arendelle that Elsa wears during her own coronation. In one corner, observant guests will also notice the clock that young Anna leans against in the song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”
“These are notlei the only hidden details to discover throughout the entire experience,” adds Emma Yeates. “It is full of references—of course to the Frozen universe and beyond! Our guests should keep their eyes open on their next visits…”
The royal encounter will open alongside World of Frozen on March 29, 2026, in Disney Adventure World.
