New Sounds from Efteling: The Anton Pieckplein Shines Musically

In Europe's famed amusement park Efteling, new melodies are in the air! Today's release of the music from the recently renovated Anton Pieckplein on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music is sure to delight both nostalgia lovers and music enthusiasts alike.

The centerpiece of this new musical journey? The Vermolen Carousel, which was introduced to the public just this past April. Behind this enchanting melody is a renowned name: René Merkelbach, the in-house composer for Efteling. Merkelbach crafted a special Anton-Pieck theme which was subsequently transformed into a nine-minute barrel organ arrangement.

The melodic title "At the Anton Pieckplein" is at the heart of this release. But Efteling has more in store: Two additional tracks, "Puppet Show" and "Music Box", enhance the musical spectrum and give the square its unique ambiance.
