At the IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona, the leading trade fair for the amusement industry, the Europa-Park Resort received several prestigious awards in 2025. These include the European Star Awards and the Park World Excellence Awards, which honor the park and the Rulantica water world for their outstanding achievements.
Park World Excellence Awards
The British trade magazine Park World honored
Europa-Park multiple times at the Park World Excellence Awards. The resort was not only named the best theme park but also unanimously received the special award "The Best of the Best." The jury emphasized the consistently high quality down to the smallest detail and the immersive storytelling that brings the themed areas to life. In addition, the park won the award for best live entertainment thanks to the diverse program for its 50th anniversary. The jury praised the
Rulantica water world as highly recommended.
European Star Awards
The trade magazine Kirmes & Park Revue named Germany's largest theme park Europe's best theme park once again as part of the European Star Awards. The Rulantica water world secured second place in the category of Europe's best water parks. This award has been presented for the 14th time and is considered one of the most important honors for amusement and water parks in Europe. An international, independent jury of renowned experts made the decision.
Award-Winning Attractions at Europa-Park
Among the attractions at Europa-Park, the popular themed ride "
Arthur" stands out, having been named Europe's best family attraction. The interactive 3D dark ride "
Grand Prix EDventure," this year's novelty, ranks in the top five of Europe's best new indoor attractions. Further awards went to the flying theater "
Voletarium," which took second place among Europe's best indoor attractions. The wooden roller coaster "
Wodan - Timburcoaster" achieved sixth place among Europe's best wooden roller coasters. Among steel roller coasters, "
Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac" ranks third and "
Blue Fire Megacoaster" tenth among Europe's best. The water roller coaster "
Poseidon" came in eighth among Europe's best water attractions.
Successes at Rulantica Water World
At the Rulantica water world, the racing slide "
Vikingløp" was honored in ninth place among Europe's best water slides. The new outdoor pool "Svømmepøl" received sixth place in the category of Europe's best new water attraction for 2025.
Awards for MACK Rides
MACK Rides, the world's leading manufacturer of roller coasters and the origin of the MACK Group, was delighted with awards for "Mission Bermudes" as best attraction and best product innovation. In addition, "Helios" won the prize for best new roller coaster with a limited budget.
