Europa-Park January 2026: Events and Winter Magic

In January 2026, Germany's largest theme park, the Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort, will open its doors to a wide array of events ranging from a relaxed atmosphere in the water world to culinary highlights and spectacular shows. Guests can immerse themselves in "Winter Magic," indulgent evenings, and unique premieres in Rust from January 2 to 31.

Year-Round Highlights at Rulantica

The Rulantica water world offers "Rulantica Vibes" throughout the year, where guests can spend relaxed hours in the heated outdoor pool, the Frigg Temple, against the backdrop of the Svalgurok outdoor slide world. Ideal for evenings with DJ sets and refreshing beverages, the offering runs Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Winter Magic at Europa-Park Until Mid-January

Until January 18, 2026, Europa-Park will transform into a winter paradise with "Winter Magic." Thick snowflakes will drift through the air, the scent of fine cookies will rise, and the park will be adorned with regional fir trees and glittering Christmas baubles. The Christmas market will invite visitors to linger with fragrant mulled wine and roasted almonds, while fairy-tale 3D projections and cozy campfires create magical moments.

Culinary Traditions to Start the Year

On January 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, the legendary spare ribs will return to the Silver Lake Saloon, where guests can feast on an all-you-can-eat format. An aperitif such as firewater can be added easily, with more dates to follow in February and March.

Cozy Hut Evenings with Live Music

On January 3, 9, and 10, the ERDINGER Hütt'n Evenings will invite guests to sociable hours during the winter season. Visitors will enjoy a delicious three-course gourmet menu amid lively, festive live music and cozy gatherings. Additional dates are scheduled for December 2025.

Festive Lunchtime Revue Grandioso

On January 3, 4, and 11, the lunchtime revue "Grandioso" will raise its curtain in the Dream Palace. This enchanting Christmas show in the historic mirror tent will captivate families with impressive artistry and captivating dances performed by the young talents of the TALENT ACADEMY Europa-Park.

Alemannic Knight's Feast at Balthasar Castle

On January 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 16, and 17, the Alemannic Knight's Feast will take guests on a journey back to the 15th century. In the Balthasar Castle, built in 1442, a stylish banquet with four courses awaits, featuring medieval dialect, wit, charm, and historic live music. More dates are available in December 2025.

Artistic-Culinary Journey: Malam Indonesia

On January 5 and 10, "Malam Indonesia" in the Bamboe Baai restaurant will transport guests to the world of pirates in Batavia. Over a four-course menu, they will embark on an adventurous journey with artistic elements.

Adventures in the Wild West

On January 6 and 9, Western Evenings will plunge guests into the world of grand adventures in the untamed Wild West. The evening will deliver gripping entertainment with classic Wild West cuisine and country music.

Gin and Tonic and Burgers in a Cozy Lodge

On January 9, 10, and 16, bar chef Denis Lentz and his team will provide variety with five distinctive gin and tonics in the Roland Koch Lodge African Bar & Wine Cellar at the Bell Rock Hotel. Chef Christophe Hoppenkamps will complement this with three delicious burgers, which guests can savor in a cozy atmosphere.

World Premiere of the DJ BoBo Arena Tour

From January 15 to 18, 2026, the King of Dance, DJ BoBo, will celebrate the world premiere of his arena tour under the motto "The Great Adventure." The stage spectacle will feature numerous DJ BoBo hits, new songs, breathtaking dance choreographies, fantastic costumes, and state-of-the-art visual effects. Combined with an overnight stay including breakfast buffet at one of the six four-star superior experience hotels, the concert visit will become an unforgettable short vacation.

Nordic Festival of Lights at Rulantica from Mid-January

From January 19 to March 27, 2026, the Rulantica water world will shine in the "Nordic Festival of Lights" as a sparkling sea of lights. Especially in the evening hours, enchanting illuminations, spectacular shows, and engaging entertainment by Europa-Park artists will leave visitors in awe. Around the wave pool, Rulantica will present a premiere evening show with international performers and spectacular effects, creating unforgettable moments twice daily.

XXL Closing Kitchen Party Between the Hotels

On January 23 and 24, the XXL Closing Kitchen Party will offer an ultimate culinary journey between the Bell Rock and Colosseo hotels. Master dishes from the chefs will be paired with fine wines, clever cocktails, and live music.

Raclette Under the Stars in the Winter Igloo

From January 29 to 31, guests will enjoy delicious raclette in the Winter Igloo on Colosseo Square amid magical moments surrounded by twinkling lights and under the starry sky. More dates will follow in February and March.

Create Your Own Glenfiddich

On January 30, guests will have the rare opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Malt Master Brian Kinsman and compose their own Glenfiddich single malt Scotch whisky in a small group.

Fondue Evening with Multiple Courses

On January 30 and 31, the Sala Santa Isabel restaurant will serve a fondue menu starting with a glass of prosecco. The Chinese fondue will form the first course, followed by meat fondue to taste, and ending with chocolate fondue. More dates are available in February and March.

Tapas Total from Spanish Cuisine

On January 30 and 31, the Castillo restaurant in the tournament tent will conjure up a varied five-course tapas menu from Spain's Mediterranean cuisine. More dates will follow in February and March.

Italian Wine and Cheese Classics

On January 31, chef Raffaele Cannizzaro and sommelier Vincenzo De Biase will stage Italian classics in "Vino & Formaggi: The Inseparables." Affineur Eros Buratti will complement the Italian trio with cheese specialties from Piedmont for an unforgettable wine journey.
