European Talent Day: Isabella Weber from the TALENT ACADEMY at Europa-Park

On March 25, European Talent Day, Europa-Park is putting an exceptional young artist in the spotlight: Isabella Weber. The 13-year-old from Kenzingen has been a member of the TALENT ACADEMY for ten years and impresses with her extraordinary discipline and versatility.

“Being on stage is my thing — that’s where I feel truly at home,” Isabella says. She discovered her passion for ballet at age two while watching dancers on TV, and she asked her mother to enroll her in classes. Her mother, Olga Weber, adds: “She is incredibly disciplined. With so many courses, she has little time for friends, but we try to find a balance and support her wherever we can.”

The 13-year-old currently attends eleven classes per week: two ballet classes, two aerial acrobatics lessons, three Performance Crew training sessions, one contemporary class, one advanced training session, and two handstand duo acrobatics sessions. She is there every day except Sundays. Additional sessions are added for special projects, such as the 2024 Talent Show. She played the lead role of Bella after a year of preparation.

This year, Isabella is receiving special support. During the Surprise Shows last December, Katja Mack presented her with a scholarship from The Talent Foundation e.V., which allows her to attend up to six courses per week free of charge. The scholarship is awarded annually to a member who has demonstrated exceptional growth.

“I’m really proud of myself and what I’ve achieved. I’m incredibly grateful to my parents, my coaches, Katja Mack, and the TALENT ACADEMY,” Isabella says. “They have always believed in me, motivated me, and supported my development. That feels wonderful.”
