New Egyptian Attraction at Parc Astérix: "La Tour de Numérobis" Takes Flight

The wait is over: Parc Astérix, one of France's premier amusement parks, has officially announced plans for its latest attraction set to debut next year. An imposing carousel tower named "La Tour de Numérobis" will soon enhance the park's skyline, offering visitors a unique riding experience.

Rumors had been swirling for months, but now there's confirmation: An initial conceptual design of the attraction is already adorning the construction fence at its future location. Collaborating with the esteemed Italian manufacturer, Zamperla, ensures top-notch quality and safety. The tower is slated to be positioned in the park's Egyptian section, right next to the popular Inverted Coaster, OzIris.

The park remains tight-lipped about the exact technical specifics. However, it's confirmed that the launch of "La Tour de Numérobis" will be a highlight of Parc Astérix's 35th anniversary celebrations. The tower will also be prominently visible near the A1 highway, promising to captivate both locals and tourists alike.

The name "Numérobis" resonates with fans of the "Asterix and Obelix" comics. In the series, Numérobis is the skilled architect commissioned by Queen Cleopatra to construct a magnificent palace in record time. It's not the first time the character Numérobis has found a place in the park. The family roller coaster in operation since 1990 was renamed "SOS Numérobis" in 2012 and is located a stone's throw from the upcoming feature.
