Phantasialand continues its tradition of renewal and expansion, unveiling a captivating new addition this season: Mopti's Monkey Depot, a creatively designed climbing playground in the African themed area. This latest attraction joins the ranks of previous enhancements like the adventure course and the African village, promising a diverse experience for the entire family.

Mopti's Monkey Depot enhances the African themed world, Deep in Africa, situated at the park's edge near the entrance to the Colorado Adventure rollercoaster. This playground represents the park's latest expansion following the addition of an adventure course and an African village in previous years.

Concept and Design

The concept behind Mopti's Monkey Depot transports visitors to a warehouse full of African artifacts, emphasized by the intricate design. Dutchman Gert Eussen, known for his work on the Avoras climbing tower in Wuze Town, is responsible for the creative design. A portion of the playground is covered, ensuring that the climbing fun remains undiminished even in less favorable weather conditions.
