Only a few days to go until Plopsaland Deutschland kicks off the 2026 season with a real bang. The undisputed highlight is the European premiere of the family coaster "100% Wolf" – an all-generations ride that sets new standards for fun across every age group.
Spanning 760 meters of track with three parallel trains, the coaster delivers varied thrills through surprising elements like a switch track with a backward section and a dramatic spike as the grand finale. The richly detailed theming, based on the hit film and series "100% Wolf", turns the ride into a truly immersive adventure. Best of all for families: Kids from just one meter tall can ride when accompanied by an adult. The new coaster beautifully bridges the attractions in Majaland with big thrill rides like "Sky Scream" and the legendary "bigFM Expedition GeForce".
The official season opening on March 22 will be celebrated with a big Grand Opening. Right afterwards, from March 27 to April 12, the Easter Bunny arrives with a large Easter egg hunt in cooperation with WAWI, where children get free chocolate.
But that's far from everything. The 2026 season brings a host of new premieres and events, including the first "Plopsa StreetDance Festival", the car enthusiasts' event "Cars & Coasters", concerts by the popular children's band "Heavysaurus", plus the established "RPR1 Summer Nights" and "Halloween Fright Nights". Winter opening with special hours follows later. From summer onwards, Maya the Bee takes center stage with a brand-new parade, a daily 15-minute birthday show and two new mascots – the ants Arnie and Barney.
A very special milestone is also coming: On June 20, the mega coaster "bigFM Expedition GeForce" celebrates its 25th birthday in style with exclusive rides (in cooperation with Lucky-Looping), surprises and a charity marathon. The cult coaster boasts numerous international awards, including several first places at the Golden Ticket Awards as Europe's best roller coaster.
Following last year's record visitor numbers, the park will stay open continuously from March 22 to November 1, 2026, without a single closing day. With investments totaling more than 150 million euros since the takeover, the transformation into a genuine multi-day destination continues full steam ahead. Two major projects get underway in 2026: the groundbreaking for "Plopsaqua Haßloch" and construction of a new Xtreme Spinning Coaster in partnership with Tomorrowland. The "Coaster Cave" will also open – a one-of-a-kind event venue located directly beneath a roller coaster, where guests can actually touch the track.
The park is expanding its partner hotel program as well, which already includes around 25 hotels and accommodations with approximately 3,000 beds. All these developments position Plopsaland Deutschland Resort as a highly attractive multi-day destination and make a lasting contribution to tourism in the Palatinate, Rhineland-Palatinate and central Germany.
