The completion of the eagerly anticipated roller coaster Hyperia at Thorpe Park has reached a milestone. A giant crane has recently been transported to the construction site and is now operational, advancing the assembly of the higher support structures.

The final construction phase of Hyperia has gained new momentum with the arrival of a monumental crane at the construction site. Specifically delivered for the installation of the higher support sections, which were previously beyond the reach of smaller construction machinery, its deployment marks a turning point in the coaster's construction. It significantly enhances the efficiency of the work and accelerates the preparations for the first major drop.
Accelerated Construction Progress
The installation of the supports for the roller coaster's first drop has begun at an impressive pace. On the first day alone, almost 5/6 of the planned supports were erected. Given the high rental costs for the crane, swift action by the construction teams is expected. The next few days, possibly even the coming week, are likely to be characterized by intense construction activities to keep to the schedule and manage costs effectively.
Detail Enhancements and Thematic Design
Besides structural progress, further developments are becoming visible. Additional parts for the top of the lift have been installed, and more supports are ready for deployment. Special attention is being paid to the thematic design: the left side of the station now shines with additional golden theming, further enhancing the visual impression of the attraction.
