Butterbeer Season 2026: New Waffle and Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

Butterbeer fans, raise your mugs! Starting March 1, 2026, Butterbeer Season returns to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort, turning the magical lands into a sweet paradise for every fan of the iconic beverage.

Universal Destinations & Experiences is celebrating the beloved drink from the Harry Potter series this spring with a variety of new and returning treats as well as exclusive merchandise. The season runs from March 1 through May 31, 2026, at Universal Orlando Resort.

A major highlight in Orlando is the debut of the Butterbeer Waffle – the new signature treat of the season. It will be available for a limited time at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade (Universal Islands of Adventure) and the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley (Universal Studios Florida).

Additional new delights available only during the season include the Butterbeer Cupcake, Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich, Butterbeer Candy Apple, and Butterbeer Shortbread Bar. These can be found exclusively at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley. In the brand-new Ministry of Magic area of Universal Epic Universe, guests can also enjoy a sophisticated Biéraubeurre Crème Brûlée at Café L’air de la Siréne.

Another first: Butterbeer Truffles and Butterbeer Macarons make their debut at Universal Orlando Resort and will be available year-round at the elegant K. Rammelle confectionery shop in the Ministry of Magic.

In addition to the culinary magic, there's a fresh collection of Butterbeer-themed merchandise, including a stylish Spirit Jersey, t-shirts, bucket hats, and other collectibles – perfect for showing your love for Butterbeer back home.

Butterbeer Season is also taking place simultaneously at Universal Studios Hollywood (March 1 – May 31), Universal Beijing Resort, and – from April 1 to May 17 – at Universal Studios Japan. In Hollywood, the popular Butterbeer Cream Puff returns, among other offerings.
