50th Anniversary Kicks Off with Dock World
Walibi Belgium marks 50 years of innovation in 2025. On April 5, the season begins with the opening of Dock World, a harbor-themed world set to captivate visitors of all ages. Since 1975, the park has pioneered the industry – it was the first in Europe to introduce an admission ticket granting free access to all attractions. This spirit of innovation continues with a festive summer filled with surprising animations that will delight guests throughout the year.
Dock World: New Rides and Maritime Vibes
Dock World continues the transformation Walibi Belgium has pursued since 2016. After 15 months of construction and a 35-million-euro investment, this zone opens on April 5. Mecalodon, a family-friendly coaster, speeds at 65 km/h across 925 meters of track just above the water, delivering thrills for everyone. Other highlights include revamped classics: Turbine, reclaiming its original name from Psyké Underground, and Flash Back blend seamlessly into the industrial harbor setting. For younger guests, Stormy and Tous en boîte have been tailored to the nautical theme. New dining options like Hungry Sharky, Phare Ouest, and Pêche & Mignon invite relaxation, while the Dock Shop in the Cannery Factory central hall offers maritime souvenirs.
Exclusive Preview for Subscribers
Subscribers receive a special perk for the anniversary. On April 5, during the Walibi Pass Premiere, Dock World will be exclusively open to them from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. They’ll be the first to experience Mecalodon and explore the new zone before it welcomes all visitors at noon. Spaces are limited, so reservations are required for this exclusive morning event.
Summer Celebration with Shared Memories
On July 26, 1975, Walibi opened its doors and revolutionized the theme park world with its groundbreaking ticket model. Fifty years later, the park invites visitors to share their memories. Old photos and videos can be sent to
