This autumn, Walibi Belgium celebrates the 25th anniversary of its Halloween season with plans for the scariest edition yet. To bring visitors' worst nightmares to life, the park is recruiting 380 extras, makeup artists, and costume designers.
Halloween Anniversary: Spooky and Thrilling
From October 12 to November 3, Walibi Belgium will open its doors for the Halloween season. During this period, the park will transform into a house of horrors, where numerous monsters and creatures will haunt visitors. This anniversary year promises to be particularly terrifying.
Recruitment Campaign: Seeking Creative Talents
To ensure the success of the Halloween season, Walibi is looking for 340 extras, 40 makeup artists, and 9 costume designers. Luis de la Serna, Recruitment Manager at Walibi Belgium-Aqualibi, explains: “We are organizing a recruitment campaign again this year. In addition to the passionate core team that returns every autumn to scare our visitors, we are constantly looking for new, motivated colleagues. The interest in our job offers is overwhelming every time. The uniqueness of the roles and the special working environment attract many applicants. During the Halloween weeks, the park is filled with incredible energy and adrenaline.”
Application Requirements and Procedures
Interested applicants should ideally be adults and be fully available during the Halloween period, as the park is open until 10 PM on some evenings. Applications can be submitted until July 15 on the “Jobs” page of the website. Applicants should specify whether they are applying as an extra, makeup artist, or costume designer and complete a short form. To enhance their chances, applicants may also submit an introduction video.
Casting Dates
Selected candidates will be invited to castings, which will be held on specific dates. The castings for extras are scheduled for July 24, 25, and 26. Makeup artists have casting dates on July 27 and August 3, 7, and 14. Additional casting dates may be organized as needed.
