Head Chef Olivier Arthur has now shared the creative background and inspirations behind the park’s very first Character Dining restaurant – giving fans a real taste of a dining experience that combines magic, storytelling and top-tier cuisine.

Conceived as the elegant vacation residence of the Disney Princesses, the Regal View Restaurant & Lounge is designed as a soothing, stylish retreat where the beloved heroines gather and relax in different outfits – a concept never seen before in the Disney universe. This powerful narrative forms the foundation for the entire experience. “We wanted to seamlessly extend the atmosphere through the cuisine,” explains Olivier Arthur. Instead of literal depictions, the dishes use subtle allusions: each one evokes a color, an energy or a memory – always with finesse.

The positioning is clearly premium and immersive. The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge is not only the very first Character Dining restaurant in the entire Disney Adventure World, but its Lounge also marks the first lounge ever developed across both Disneyland Paris parks. Here, high-quality gastronomy meets magical character encounters in a modern, elegant setting – a destination in its own right that goes far beyond a simple meal.

Three major pillars guided menu development: the narrative universe of the Princess residence, the cultural diversity of the heroines, and a strong focus on the overall experience with textures, contrasts, presentation and perfect meal pacing. Second, the roasted guinea fowl with oriental flavors, inspired by Princess Jasmine.
