Villagers of Arendelle: 350 New Cast Members Welcomed to World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World

Only 20 days to go until the kingdom of Arendelle opens its gates. On March 29, the long-awaited World of Frozen will finally launch at Disney Adventure World with the Snowflower Festival – and the kingdom now has its official inhabitants. More than 350 Cast Members have been solemnly welcomed as true villagers of Arendelle. They are the ones who will make sure fans experience the magical world of Anna and Elsa in the most authentic way possible.

“Dear friends, it is with great joy and emotion…” With these warm words, Fredrik, the royal emissary of Queens Anna and Elsa, greeted the newcomers during the emotional Celebration of the Villagers of Arendelle. The ceremony took place just days before the grand opening and already gave a taste of the special spirit that will reign in Arendelle.

Preparations for this unique role had been running at full speed since the summer of 2025. Thousands of candidates applied for the coveted positions as stewards, royal attendants, hosts at the Nordic Crowns Tavern, companions for Royal Encounters at Arendelle Castle, or creators of souvenirs and toys. In the end, 350 chosen ones were allowed to settle in the village.

In the winter of 2026, intensive training followed at the Royal Academy of Universal Development, better known as Disney University. Queens Anna and Elsa even made their private dining room and magical lantern available so the future villagers could immerse themselves deeply in Arendelle’s history, legends, and customs. “The quality of our welcome will make all the difference,” Fredrik emphasized.

The official welcoming day turned into a truly emotional highlight for everyone involved. In a colorful procession full of laughter, the new villagers crossed the bridge into the kingdom under the delighted eyes of the crowd and gathered at the Friendship Fountain – the symbol of the unbreakable bond between Anna and Elsa. There, they all sang the anthem “Vuelie” together in a moving performance. A large group photo captured this magical moment forever.

In addition to Anna, Elsa, and Fredrik, Oaken was there along with the 2026–2027 Disney Ambassadors Mónica and Agathe and senior Disneyland Paris executives, including President Natacha Rafalski and Christophe Murphy, to welcome the new villagers.

For all Frozen fans, this means one thing: Starting March 29, World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World will become an unforgettable experience thanks to its real inhabitants – full of warmth, magic, and genuine Arendelle hospitality.
