International Women’s Day 2026: Disneyland Paris Celebrates Equality with Strong Women

Disneyland Paris is making a powerful statement for gender equality once again on International Women’s Day 2026. The beloved resort inspires its Cast Members with dedicated programs and lets guests experience the topic firsthand. It’s a real highlight for fans that shows how much heart and dedication go into creating the daily magic.

This week marked the ninth edition of the exclusive Cast Members conference. Participants spent the day in workshops and talks covering everything from workplace health and leadership to artistic expression and a self-defense workshop. They gained valuable resources and space for meaningful conversations.

The Women@DisneylandParis employee network organized a roundtable with Village by CA focused on women in innovation.

This year’s “Women Behind the Magic” series spotlighted two Cast Members, Meghan Lamant and Lydie Boussard. They shared their professional journeys and personal stories, giving touching insights into the talented women behind the Disney experience.

Guests were greeted by something special at the park entrance. Since last week, a beautiful Minnie Mouse-themed flowerbed has been welcoming visitors to Disneyland Park. This popular March tradition was created entirely by an all-female team of horticulture experts, showcasing their impressive skills. The display is part of the stunning 7,400 square meters of flowerbeds that are meticulously maintained every day across the Resort.

There’s more reason to be proud: For the fourth consecutive year, Disneyland Paris scored 99 out of 100 on the Gender Equality Index. This award highlights the resort’s long-standing commitment to real gender equality in the workplace.
