Scheduled Maintenance and Unanticipated Technical Difficulties
Initially, only Villa Volta and Vogel Rok were to be closed due to routine maintenance. Such maintenance is crucial for ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the rides. Additionally, the impressive dive coaster, Baron 1898, was recently added to the maintenance schedule. The reason: an unexpectedly required track inspection. However, there's hope that this ride will reopen for visitors later in the day.
No Discount, but Possible Compensation
Despite these unexpected closures, the park has announced that there will be no general discounts on the admission price. This might be disappointing for some visitors, especially those traveling from afar to experience their favorite rides.However, the park is showing flexibility: Visitors adversely affected by the downtime can submit a complaint. Efteling will then review on a case-by-case basis whether and in what form compensation will be offered.
